Job Interview!

Hi everyone! Just a small entry for me today – I won’t always update every day, but thought I had something to share, so why not šŸ™‚

Today I had a job interview! It’s a full time position working in very highly regarded department store, working in the home department. I had to go shopping this morning, as I had absolutely nothing to wear, and I was only offered the interview late afternoon yesterday. So I chose to wear black trousers with flat black boots, a gorgeous (and very Christmassy) red sleevless top from Next and a black blazer. I was umming and ahhing about whether I should wear my hair down or up…I decided to go with hair up as I thought it looked more professional? What do you guys wear to interviews? And have you had any bad interview experiences? I’d love to hear your stories, so do feel free to leave a comment šŸ™‚

I think it went well though – I answered all the questions very well (in my own opinion), and it sounds like a really good job with a lot of benefits for staff. Now though, comes the waiting game šŸ˜¦ I’ve been told that I should hear by the beginning of next week, and if I am offered the job I could starting before Christmas! Which means I may only have a week or two left of University.

I have to say I am kind of upset about the prospect of being away from uni, but I feel this is the right decision for me at this moment and I have to go with what feels right.

Anyway, as I said this was just a short entry today, I wanted to share my interview with you guys šŸ™‚

Stay warm everyone – especially with this awful stormy weather we are currently having! x
